WHITSUN BANK HOLIDAY WEEKEND RENDEZVOUS
Following the success of last year's event and by popular demand, plans are now well advanced for the THIRD ANNUAL BOATS YACHT CLUB EVENT to be held in POOLE HARBOUR, DORSET
Whitsun Bank Holiday Weekend 25-27 May 2019
We have secured 20 berths in POOLE QUAY BOAT HAVEN and with over 400 BOATS YACHT CLUB MEMBERS this event will be oversubscribed. Berths are available on a 'first come…..first served' basis and can be confirmed by completing the ONLINE BOOKING / PAYMENT FORM below.
Last year's event - see the video - proved to be a memorable long Bank Holiday weekend blessed with fabulous weather, where new boating friendships were made and special memories created.
Itinerary
We have made some changes to the schedule for this year with events planned for both the Saturday and Sunday at private and exclusive Boats Yacht Club venues.
Saturday 25th May
13:00 - Arrive Poole Quay Boat Haven from early afternoon. The Marina staff will be on hand to direct you to your berth for the weekend.
15:00 - Drinks Reception and Canapes - a great opportunity to meet up with familiar boating friends and make new friendships.
18:00 - Evening BBQ with live music and pay-bar.
Sunday 26th May
08:30 - Breakfast and Skippers briefing.
10:30 - Depart Poole Harbour Boat Haven for Cruise in Company along the stunning Jurassic Coast and afternoon anchor/raft up - destination to be confirmed subject to weather conditions and tides.
17:00 - Arrive back in Poole Quay Boat Haven.
18:00 - Depart for Evening Event.
18:30 - Champagne Reception.
19:30 to midnight - Three course Dinner with pay-bar then dance the night away to live music (dress code - smart casual, optional theme colours - Black and White).
Monday 27th May
11:00 - Depart Poole for home ports.
Booking / Payment
The cost of this subsidised event will be £395 for two persons and includes berthing charges at Poole Quay Boat Haven for the nights of 25/26 May, welcome drinks reception with canapes, BBQ with live music on Saturday evening, Sunday morning breakfast, evening Champagne recption and dinner/dance with live music. Transport to event.
Additional persons £136 per person. Children under 16 £68 per person. All bookings must be confirmed by 31st March 2019 latest but, remember, berth availability at Poole Quay Boat Haven is limited and available on a first come….first served basis. WE LOOK FORWARD TO YOU JOINING US FOR ANOTHER VERY SPECIAL WEEKEND.

We just had the best of times and the whole weekend was organised so expertly. Our skipper, Lee, also said it was the best event of that kind he has ever attended and he has been to quite a few! I think the mix of people was fantastic and we have made some new and lovely friends from the gathering. We just can't wait for the next one and really feel part of a great new club
What a great do and what fantastic photos and video! We'll be there next year for sure, so count us in, would be even better if we can do it in a Targa 47

Firstly a massive "WELL DONE" the team at boats.co.uk pulled off a superb weekend, amazing in so many ways! Secondly, we had a super time, we met loads of lovely people, both staff and customers and got to swap boating tales and share our purchasing and selling experiences with others - all good you will be pleased to hear! It was also nice to see so many boats all in one place with their owners and get the "low down" on what their boats are really like to use in the real world, very handy when eyeing up a potential next boat. So, thank you and well done, we look forward to next year!

It really was a fantastic weekend and great to meet so many new friends. Great organisation from start to finish, plenty of drink, a wonderful three course dinner, brilliant band, professional leadership, we could go on and on. We look forward to reliving the memories through all the photos and to new adventures together. Count us in for next year!
